François Poulin de Francheville

François Poulin de Francheville, lord of Saint-Maurice (October 7th 1692 - November 1733) was a native merchant of Montreal to which the king of France gave the permission to exploit the ore of Fer being on his seigniory in 1730. It founds the Forges of the Saint-Maurice to Three-Rivers a little before its death.
