François Pierre Olivier de Rougé

François Pierre Olivier (born in 1756 - died in 1816), Red count of and the Plessis-Suspension brace, marquis of Faÿ-lès-Nemours, was a Général French.

Biography

He is the son of the marquis Pierre François de Rougé and of Marie Claude Jeanne Julie of Coëtmen.

He marries the April 13rd 1779 Marie Josèphe Vincente of Robert de Lignerac de Caylus (girl of the marquis of Lignerac, duke of Caylus, and Marie de Lévis of Châteaumorand).

Distinctions

  • Knight then Commander of the Order of Saint-Louis.
  • Named Colonel of Infantry in 1780.
  • Elected appointed of the nobility to the General states of 1789.
  • Named brigadier in 1791.
  • Promoted lieutenant-general in 1816, under the Restoration.
