Jacobus François Pienaar , born the January 2nd 1967 with Vereeniging, is a former South-African player of Rugby to XV, evolving/moving at the station of third line wing (1,90  m for 108  kg).

Its ancestors were Huguenots of orléanais and were called Pinard, neerlandized in Pienaar.

It is known to have been the captain of the team of victorious South Africa of the World cup of Rugby 1995 disputed in residence. One retains especially the image of Nelson Mandela covered shirt springbok with number 7 of Pienaar.

In spite of the only presence of Chester Williams as player of color, this victory is the first victory shared by all the South-African people.

Its ousting of the team of Boks by the trainer Andre Markgraaff starts a national controversy. It leaves then for the England where he becomes trainer-player of the Saracens. But the results are not those awaited and it leaves its post of trainer in 2002.

There remains implied in school Rugby and academic in South Africa.
