François Luciani is a French realizer and scenario writer.

Biography

1st aoûtNé of a father Lawyer and a mother Professor of letters, François Luciani follows his secondary studies to the Charlemagne College to Paris, then, while continuing a preparatory formation at the National university, obtains a license of Modern Letters at the University of Paris VII and enters on contest to the Institute of the High Cinematographic Studies (I.D.H.E.C.) at the 22 years age.

After having been the assistant many realizers with the cinema and on television, he writes and carries out its first film " Memory of Amour" in 1989. Since, it continues a career of author and realizer, crowned many national and international rewards. François Luciani is a realizer noticed for his smoothness of tone, his sensitivity, his very particular direction of the actors. Through works such as " Algeria of Chimères" or " Adieu" , films references for the history of Algeria, or " The Lawsuit of Bobigny" and " Camarades" , François Luciani testifies to an effectiveness remarkable to handle at the same time the romantic one, the contemporary and the historical rigor. These works, of a great esthetic quality, count already among traditional television and do of François Luciani one of the realizers most endowed with his generation.
