François Lombard is a French player of Rugby to XV, born the February 10th 1906 with Narbonne and deceased the September 15th 1996 with Brive, of 1 m 72 per 75 kg, third line wing then half of fray of RC Narbonne.

He was the captain of his Narbonnese team, at the time of the first victory of the club in championnatde France, in the year 1936.

- in 1926, it makes its military service with the 80ème regiment of infantry with NARBONNE where it plays Rugby, - in 1928-1929, he plays ELNE with Illibériennes youths, champion of France second series on April 22nd, 1929, - of 1930 to 1938, he plays RACING NARBONNESE CLUB, - in 1938 it leaves NARBONNE to go to settle with BORT the ORGAN (19) where it plays and involves ACE BORTOISE and is in the beginning (in others) arrival of AMEDE DOMENECH, with BORT, - in 1951, it leaves with DIGOIN (the Saone and the Loire) where it plays and involves FC DIGOIN, - in 1955, it settles with BRIVE and involves CA BRIVISTE, until 1957, year of the increase in the first division, - he plays his last match in the first division with CA BRIVISTE against La Rochelle in 1957, - of April 1958 in June 1962, it settles with TULLE where it holds the EARTH (bar), and helps of its councils the junior team of the children reared by the army, - in August 1962 it returns with BRIVE to help DOMENECH with the starting of the Large hotel of BORDEAUX, - of 1963 to 1975, it settles with LARCHE (19) where it holds a trade and involves CA LARCHOIS, - it returns to reside at BRIVE in 1975 when it dies on September 15th, 1996.
