François Lapierre
Monseigneur François Lapierre was born with Bromont on July 16th, 1941.
He led his studies to Granby and the Séminaire of the Foreign missions with Laval.
He was missionary in several countries of Latin America.
He speaks 7 languages, of which a South American indigenous dialect
He becomes bishop of Saint-Hyacinthe in 1998.
Under its impulse, two young teenagers representing the international event Vivre the World of the Francophonie will receive the Bénédiction Papale.
