François Lamy is a politician French, born the October 31st 1959 with Brunoy (the Essonne).
François Lamy is elected appointed 6th district of the the Essonne in June 1997. He is re-elected the June 16th 2002 for the XII {{E}} legislature (2002 - 2007) and the June 17th 2007 for the XIII {{E}} legislature with 52,64% of the voices vis-a-vis Veronique Carantois (UMP). François Lamy belongs to the group Socialiste, radical and citizen with the National Assembly.
Former militant of PSU, he is president of the club Réformer, think tank political with Martine Aubry, Marylise Lebranchu, Jean Le Garrec and Adeline Hazan.
National secretary in load of the questions of Defense of the Socialist party, he is Member of the Commission of the defense of the National Assembly. He belonged to the boards of inquiry parliamentary on the Massacre of Srebrenica and on the Génocide in Rwanda. Following this work, Lamy wrote a report/ratio on the need for a parliamentary control on external operations of the French Army. Since October 2007, it makes party of the parliamentary board of inquiry on the conditions of the release of the Bulgarian nurses where it is interested in the military cooperation agreements signed on this occasion.
At the time of the municipal elections of March 2001, with the head of a list of plural left and associative, François Lamy takes with the first tower the town of Palaiseau to the right-hand side. It is besides the only city of more than: 20000 inhabitants to be passed on the left at the time this turn.
François Lamy is also president of the Communauté of agglomeration of the plate of Saclay (CAPES) since 2002.
