François Lamarque , born in Ménestrol, close to Montpont (the Dordogne), the November 2nd 1753, died in Montpont, the May 13rd 1839.
Lawyer under the Old Mode with the Parliament of Paris. In 1790, François Lamarque is judge with the criminal court of Périgueux. In 1791, it is elected with the legislative Assemblée. Re-elected appointed in 1792 with the national Convention. He proposes the forfeiture of the king, on August 9th, 1792. With the Lawsuit of Louis XVI in January 1793, it votes the death of the king. After deliverbeing delivered to the Austrians by Charles François Dumouriez, he was imprisoned in the fortress of Spielberg, in 1795, he was exchanged against the girl of Louis XVI of France.
