François Kosciusko-Morizet is a French politician born with Paris on August 16th 1940. He is the son of the ambassador Jacques Kosciusko-Morizet and father of Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, Secretary of State to ecology.

Professional path

He was polytechnician, engineer with the body of the Highways Departments, graduate of the Institut of studies political of Paris and bachelor of science. He started at the institute of installation and town planning of the Paris region, with the departmental management of the the Valley-of-Marne, the cabinets of the Ministers for the successive equipment: Albin Chalandon, Olivier Guichard and Robert Galley, finally departmental director of the equipment of the Loiret. He worked in the private one then again in the public sector as general engineer of the Highways Departments.

Political career

He is city council man from 1989, then mayor of Sevres since 1995 and general adviser of the Hauts-de-Seine since 2006.
