François Jauffret is a former player of Tennis French. It was born the February 9th 1942 with Bordeaux, junior by a famous family of French tennis. His/her brother Jean-Paul Jauffret, is thus world champion veteran by team and champion of France juniors in 1946 (P.Jauffret will have been it in 1953).

He holds the record of selection in Équipe of France of Coupe Davis: 35 selections between 1964 and 1978, and has be champion of France with 9 recoveries (7 as seniors (only exceeded by Pierre Darmon national champion seniors with 9 recoveries between 1957 and 1968, year when Mrs. Darmon is also champion of France), 1 as juniors and 1 of juniors).
