François Ignace Ervoil d' Oyré , born the May 27th 1739 with Sedan, dead 1798, is a Général French which was illustrated at the time of the wars of the Revolution, in particular in the Siège of Mainz.

Biography

Wire of an engineer who had served under Saxony me Al in Flanders in 1745. Rising to the row of the general of Liutenant and the director of the fortifications of defenses of the Meuse (the family having a martial tradition to go back to the 1300 ' S) lieutenant of the Artillery body and since May 1756 Engineer of the genius.

January 1st, 1759 Detached and assigned with a mission in Austria. The October 1763 á September 1765 captain 27 Used in America on March 1st, 1780, for which the service it was allotted a certain kind of pension or July 1783 treatment of the commander 31 Colonel of lieutenant on April 1st, 1791. Colonel on February 8th, 1792. Brigadier on October 9th, 1792.

Used á Mainz on November 9th, 1792. After the seat, it remained as an hostage for the execution of the articles of the capitualtion (and during this time it was at the beginning proscribed and, approximately a month, forgiven later after Antoine Merlin of Thionville spoke in its defense). Turned over to December 23rd, 1794 á France; withdrawn March 31st, 1796
