François Ier of the deux-Siciles It was wire of Ferdinand Ier and the archduchess Marie-Caroline of Austria. Twice, while he was hereditary prince, his/her father gave to him the government of the State with the title of general Vicaire ( Alter ego ): in 1812, when Lord William Bentinck imposed on the Sicily an English constitution; and in 1820, during the rising of Naples and Palermo.
It assembled on the throne in 1825 and did not do anything remarkable. He was liked enough of his subjects.
In 1797, it married Clémentine of Habsbourg (1777 - 1801).
From this union was born:
Caroline of Bourbon of Deux-Siciles, countess of Rony (1798 - 1810, in 1816 it married Charles Ferdinand d' Artois, duke of Berry (1778 - 1820) (posterity). Widow, it married in 1831 the count Ettore Lucchesi Palli, Duc della Grazia (death in 1864).
Widower, François Ier of Deux-Siciles married in 1802 Marie-Isabelle of Spain (1789 - 1848).
