François II of Deux-Siciles

François II of Deux-Siciles , born the January 16th 1836 and died in Arco (current Haut-Adige) in 1894, is the oldest son of Ferdinand II and his first wife Marie-Christine of Savoy, died in layers.

It accepted from his father and his second wife, the Marie-Therese de Habsbourg, a strongly religious education, exempted by fathers Jésuites. He marries Marie Sophie of Bavaria, sister of Elisabeth of Austria, which proved to be a strong and courageous wife during the viscicitudes of the short reign of her husband.

He goes up on the throne to the untimely death of his father, at the 23 years age. One year later hardly, the kingdom is invaded by the garibaldiens initially, then by the army of the Maison of Savoy. And finally annexed with the newborn Kingdom of Italy.
