François Grosdidier is a Politician French, born the February 25th 1961 with Metz (the Moselle).

He is re-elected appointed on June 16th, 2007, for XIIe legislature (2007 - 2012), in the district of the the Moselle (1st).

Biography

François Grosdidier adheres to the RPR in 1981, after the victory of the left. In 1983, he is departmental delegate with the Youth of the RPR of the Moselle. With the University of Metz, it animates the movement Serum .

It is elected city council man of Metz of 1989 with 1995 and vice-president of the District council of Lorraine of 1992 with 2004, where it will have in load the conversion of industry, new technologies of the communication and information, the formation, insertion and the training.

In 1993, it beats the socialist former minister Jean Laurain in the district of Metz 1. Elected at 32 years with the National Assembly, it engages for Jacques Chirac and takes a very active share in its presidential campaign, then with the defense of the action of the government of Alain Juppe.

President of the Club 89 of Metz, he becomes the national spokesperson then about it. He enters the new executive team of RPR as national secretary to safety.

He works also actively for his area and will be charged by the Alain Juppe Prime Minister with a mission on the conversion of industry. In 97, in this urban or working district, it is beaten little into triangular by Gerard Terrier.

There turns over then to the professional life, while remaining close to the policy: it becomes one of the organizers of the Association of the Friends of Jacques Chirac and the organizer of the Conventions of the Revival in all the areas of France.

With the municipal of 2001, it attacks the city which was most hostile to him: Woippy, 15.000 inhabitants, 78  % of social housing, commune dirgée by the PS and the PCF since 1977 at the height vote FN, where the republican line is traditionally third at the time of triangular. At the end of a muscular campaign dominated by the topics of safety, of town planning, solidarity and insertion, he is elected with 62  % of the voices.

In 2002, it reconquers the district of Metz 1 with 55  % of the voices and 63,5 in Woippy. Of return to the National Assembly, he is special protractor of the Budget of the City and the Urban renovation.

He also activates himself with the installation of the UMP in the Moselle. He is the president at the departmental level. Very committed at the national level within the party, it chairs the Commission of the militant action.

François Grosdidier is a mayor engaged as regards environment, he chairs Responsible association Écologie .

Polemics

François Grosdidier gives an opinion against what he considers being an abuse freedom of expression in 2006 by attacking with the court certain rappeurs, of which he estimates that the words constitute a " incentive with hatred and the racisme".

François Grosdidier created a polemic end 2005 by seizing the November 22nd the Ministère of justice against the artists of Rap Mr R, Smala, the groups Lunatic (dissolved), 113, Bitter Ministère (ibid) and the singers Fabe and Salif for " incentive with racism and the haine" . Running June 2006, François Grosdidier was débouté of his complaint, considered to be inadmissible by the magistrates' court of Melum and thus Mr R released.

François Grosdider creates another polemic, eight days later, by using the " term; dinghy " with the National Assembly in connection with the marriages between people resulting from the Maghrebian Immigration and African in its commune, Woippy.

At the time of the lawsuit of Charlie Hebdo at the time of the business of the caricatures, François Grosdidier made a variously interpreted declaration. Nouvel Observateur classifies it in the people giving their support for the newspaper because he affirms that the blasphemy is not condemnable, but the sites pro-Charlie, Prochoix, consider that it wished a judgment of the newspaper for Islamophobie and amalgamates between terrorism and Islam.
