François Gir
François Gir is a French assistant-realizer born François Pierre Girard the March 13rd 1920 with Paris (XVIIIe) and deceased the December 12th 2003 with Pontoise. He is the son of the actress Jeanne Fusier-Gir and the painter Charles Gir. He carried out his single film in 1959: My pal the gipsy with Louis de Funès of which he was the brother-in-law from his marriage with Maria de Funès (1907 - 1993) between 1952 and 1978 (they lived together at the beginning of the Second world war), and with which he had two children: Charles, born in 1941, realizer of television, and Isabelle, born the July 27th 1944, better known under the name of Isabelle de Funès, singer, actress and photographer.
