François Gibault is a lawyer and French author born on May 21st 1932.

Lawyer, François Gibault was preserving Museum of the Bar of Paris (in 1969).

He is one of the specialists in Céline, of which he wrote the biography and of which he published part of the correspondence.

He was also president of the Foundation Jean-Dubuffet, about which he wrote.
