François Gamain

François Gamain 1751 - 1795

Contractor of iron work with Versailles, it was in charge at the beginning of May 1792, to arrange a secret cabinet in the wall of the palate of the Tuileries, for the History, the cupboard of iron.

In November 1792, it revealed with the Convention the existence of this iron cupboard.

It accepted for wages of its denunciation a pension of 12.000 books.
