François Galgani

François Galgani is a oceanographer Biologiste French born the May 18th 1958 with Cherbourg (France).
Schooling and studies in Africa (Chad, Gabon, Republic of Djibouti, Ivory Coast) in Germany and in the Pacific (French Polynesia). Graduate of the university of Aix-Marseilles II (science Doctor, doctor in oceanology) and of the university of Nantes (OF molecular biology).
It occupied various functions within many French laboratories (CNRS, college of France, IFREMER) and foreigners (Tokyo University off fisheries, Stanford University).
Currently enquiring with IFREMER, specialized in the evaluation of the effects of pollution on the marine organizations (ecotoxicology), François Galgani is the author of many publications relating to the nutrition of shellfish, on the molecular aspects of marine ecotoxicology, on the distribution of the Déchets on sea-beds of the European coasts, on the impact of the oil and industrial activities and on the levels of contaminants in Mediterranean water.
