Francesco Federico Campana , born the February 5th 1771 with Turin or Peveragno or Coni and deceased the February 16th 1807), is a Italian Brigadier general which was useful under Napoleon i.

Biography

Ordering Guardia Nazionale of Turin, it begins its career within the frameworks of the armed with the Revolution which operate in Italy becoming Aide-de-camp of the general Victor. It takes part in the countryside of 1795 against the Austro-Sardinians and it is wounded with the Bataille of Loano. Prefect of Marengo in 1803 after being become general, it takes part in the campaigns of 1805, 1806 and 1807. He is killed with the Combat of Ostrołęka the February 16th 1807.

According to the orders of Napoleon, the name of the Campana general was engraved on bronze the tables of the Château of Versailles.
