François Craenhals
François Craenhals , illustrator Belgian born the November 15th 1926 with Brussels and deceased the August 2nd 2004 with River-of-Theyrargues (Gard - France), member of the Belgian school of cartoon and follower of the clear Line following Hergé, it collaborated a long time in the Tintin newspaper, where it created in particular Pom and Teddy , the 4 aces and Burning Chevalier .

- In 1954, François Craenhals creates the series “ Pom and Teddy ”, for the Journal Tintin. It will continue this series until 1968, supplementing it at the end only by some short stories for the " Tintin sélection".
- In same time, it joined the weekly team Belgian Petits which will moult itself in Springboard in 1960, sometimes where it works under the pseudonym of F. Hall.
- 1964 sees the birth as cartoons of the adventures of the “ 4 Aces ” published, au préalable, in novels for youth at Casterman written by Georges Chaulet.
- 1966 is the year of creation of Burning Chevalier , still for the Journal Tintin. Impassioned by the Middle Ages, Craenhals will decide to devote the essence of its time to this saga which it will continue during more than thirty years.
