François Ceyrac , born on September 12th 1912 with Meyssac, is an administrator of companies, chair National council of French employers (CNPF) of 1972 1981.

Family

It is the son of Paul Ceyrac, notary with Meyssac, which wrote the Marriage contract parents of Jacques Chirac, the brother of the Jesuit Pierre Ceyrac and the deputy UDR Charles Ceyrac, and the uncle of Pierre Ceyrac.

Studies

He is bachelor of arts and in right, graduate of the Private school of political sciences.

Professional path

He is department head in 1936, assistant general secretary in 1945, acting general associated between 1952 and 1968 then president of the Union of Metallurgical Industries and Mines between 1969 and 1973. He is general secretary in 1946, vice-president in 1967 then president of the Social Committee of CNPF between 1968 and 1972, member of the office in 1967 then vice-president in 1968 and chair National council of French Employers between 1972 and 1981. He is president director-general of the new company of the Establishments Syam and Dreyfus between 1968 and 1970 then Danish Establishments between 1970 and 1977, member of the board of trustees of Peugeot since 1973. Member of the Economic and Social Council (1969 - 1984), vice-president in 1981 then president between 1982 and 1984 of the international chamber of commerce, and the economic and social county of the European Communities of 1982 with 1984. It is one of the founders of the Institut of the company.

Distinctions

He is commander of the Légion of honor, commander of the National order of the Merit and commander of the Ordre of Malta. He is member of the Cercle of the interallied Union, of the New Circle of the Union, and The Travellers-club.
