François Caradec (Quimper, 1924), writer and biographer French. Member of the Oulipo. Regent of the College of' Pataphysique.

Author of biographies of reference of Lautréamont, Alfred Jarry, Raymond Roussel, Alphonse Allais, Willy and Jane April. It is one of the French specialists in the cartoon, cultivates the pastiches and mystifications of any kind.

It followed closely the creation of the Sewing room of Potential Cartoon (Oubapo).

It is finally, with Jacques Jouet, Paul Fournel and Herve Tellier, of Oulipo, one of the protagonists of the radio program “Of Papous in the head” of France-Culture.
