François Calderaro
François Calderaro , born the June 15th 1964 with Rheims, is a former French center-forward trained with the Stade of Rheims. In June 1990 it joined the FC Metz where it will spend two remarkable seasons. With a style of play close to that of Jean-Pierre Papin, spectacular, fast, follower of the bicycle and recoveries lifting, Calderaro will mark 10 goals in 1990-1991 and 19 goals in 1991-1992 (2nd better striker behind Jean-Pierre PAPIN). But Michel Platini prefers to him Fabrice Divert at the time of Euro 92 in Sweden.
Then Calderaro will leave two seasons to the Paris Saint-Germain at the conclusion which it will disappear completely from the shelves of L1 Française. Its passage to the PSG is a failure with 6 marked goals and little of played matches.
It will finish its career with Toulouse, then in the 2nd division where it will play 3 seasons of 1994 to 1997 and where it will find its effectiveness of striker. ----
