François Billoux is a French politician. Born the May 21st 1903 with Saint-Romain-the-Mound (the Loire), it is deceased the January 14th 1978 with Menton (the Alpes-Maritimes).

Biography

Wire of Michel Billoux and Marie, born Chavroche, sharecroppers vine growers. In 1917, it adheres to the socialist Jeunesses then with the French Communist party in 1920 at the time of its foundation. He is general secretary of the Communist youth in 1924. He enters to the Central committee in 1926. He is regular member of the Political office as of 1936.

He is elected appointed Rhone delta with the House of Commons in 1936. Stopped in 1940, it joined Algiers in 1943 and is member of the provisional Consultative Assembly. Member of the two constituent Assemblies, it is appointed until in 1978 and several times member of the government. He is political director of the Marseillaise , then as of 1956 of France-News during the Affaire Servin-Casanova. He leaves the secretariat of the Central committee in 1956 after having formed part of it during two years.
