François Bernardini , born Antoine-François Bernardini the August 24th 1953 with Marseilles, is a politician French, former mayor of Istres (of March 2001 at November 2002), former deputy (of May 1992 at April 1993), former European deputy (of 1994 with 1999) and former president of the General advice of the Rhone delta (of March 1998 at June 1998). city council man PS of Istres, general adviser PS of the Rhone delta)

Weygand and Bernardini appeal to the Council of State, which suspends the procedure and allows Bernardini, after the cantonal ones of March 1998 to become president of the general advice.

  • June 19th, 1998: the Council of State confirms the legality of the decree of the prefect, which stopped becomes executory. It enjoint in addition the general advice of the Rhone delta to come to a conclusion about the compulsory resignation of François Bernardini within one month, under penalty of an obligation of two thousand francs per day of delay.   • September 11th and 12th 2000: François Bernardini and Jacques Siffre appear before the magistrates' court.

  • October 25th, 2000: Jacques Siffre is condemned to ten months of suspended sentence, and François Bernardini in 18 months of suspended sentence, 200.000 francs of fine and 2 years of ineligibility. Bernardini declares that this judgment is " the obvious proof of an obvious will to eliminate me from the play politique" . It appeals, which enables him to be presented for the following municipal elections of 2001.

  • at the end of 2000 - at the beginning of 2001: the Socialist party having decided to invest another candidate for Istres, François Bernardini deposits a dissenting list, which causes its suspension then its exclusion of the PS, like that of all its fellow candidates.

  • March 18th, 2001: by 9.270 votes against 9.079, Bernardini manages of accuracy to be made elect mayor of Istres

  • June 27th, 2001: Bernardini is again condemned in call to a sorrow carried at eighteen months of suspended sentence, 400.000 francs of fine and five years of ineligibility.

  • September 4th, 2002: the rejection of its appeal makes executory the judgment at five years of ineligibility.

  • November 2002: François Bernardini resigns of the town hall of Istres

  • December 6th, 2002: judgment 2002-750 of the Regional court of the Accounts of PACA, which declares Sirs Lucien Weygand and François Bernardini accountants in fact of the sums of money of the department of the Rhone delta carried out by association called departmental Office of communication and information (OCID) from May 22nd, 1990 to February 17th, 1994, with height of the subsidies poured by the department and of the products gotten by the temporary placement of the amount of the aforesaid subsidies.
