François Bellanger is a writer French, doctor of Sorbonne, born in 1688 and died in 1749.

It published a translation of the Roman Antiquités of Denys d' Halicarnasse, 1725 and Essais of criticism , 1740, under the pseudonym of Van der Meulen.
