François Bégaudeau , born with Luçon in 1971, is a French journalist and writer.

After having made its first weapons in the Punk-rock'n'roll as a singer of the Nantes group Zabriskie Not, this aggregate of modern letters which taught in a college sensitive to Dreux then in a college of ZEP to Paris publishes in 2003 its first novel, Jouer just , with the Vertical Éditions. François Bégaudeau is critical cinema with the magazine Playboy (French edition), after having been it with the Cahiers of the cinema , collaborator regular of various reviews: Uncultivated , Defector or So Foot and, since September 2006, is chronicler with “the morning one” of Canal+ as it was with late for it “the Culture Club” of France 4.

He currently works with the adaptation of " Between the murs" with the cinema in collaboration with Laurent Cantet.
