François Arnal is a French painter born on October 2nd 1924 with the Valette-of-VAr.

François Arnal starts to paint in 1947.
In 1948, it arrives at Paris where it meets the painters Dmitrienko, Rezvani and of the writers of which Raymond Queneau, Hubert June, J. - C. Lambert and Alain Jouffroy.
François Arnal takes part in the movement of the Lyric abstraction (Charles Estienne) and of the Informal art (Michel Tapié).
In 1960, it approaches the sculpture.
Then he lives in the United States six months per annum, where he exposes and works until 1964 when he fixes himself at Paris.
1968: François Arnal stops painting and opens the Workshop has in Paris, which publishes in particular objects created by artists (tables, luminiares).
