François-Saturnin Lascaris d\' Urfé
François-Saturnin Lascaris d' Urfé (1644-1701) is a known French sulpician to have based the parish of Bay-In Urfé on the island of Montreal.
Priest of Saint-Sulpice, born in Paris, it came to Canada in 1668. Brother of Louis Lascaris d' Urfé, count de Sommaviva, it was Marquis de Beauzé, then priest, abbot of Ardèche, and senior of the Cathédrale Notre-Dame of the Puy-en-Velay.
After nineteen years of residence in Canada, it returns in Parsi in 1687 and died in Paris on June 30th, 1701.
