François-Paul de Lisola
The baron François-Paul de Lisola was born with Salins in 1613 and died in Vienna in 1675.
Statesman, skilful Diplomatic with the service of the Habsbourg and publicity agent, it began his career like lawyer with Besancon.
It made name Jean Mairet Résident of Franche-Comté to Paris, function that this one exerted 1645 with 1653, date on which Mazarin exiled it by Lettre de cachet, whereas Lisola was going to make it name resident of the emperor in Paris.
François-Paul de Lisola was in his writings, largely diffused in the Germanic Holy roman Empire Romain and in England, one of the keenest adversaries of Louis XIV, of which he denounced as of 1667 in the Bouclier of State and Justice the “claims which extend almost on all Europe”.
He used the pseudonyms François de Warendorp and Christophorus Wolfangus.
