François-Mathurin Gourvès

François-Mathurin Gourvès , was born the June 17th 1929 with Plougastel-Daoulas (Finistere) from François Gourvès, farmer, and Genevieve Gourvès, born Thomas.

He makes the small seminar of Bridge-Cross, Grand seminar of Quimper, Gregorian Université of Rome, catholic Institut and Institute of political studies.

Laid off in Théologie, it is on April 6th, 1953 that it is ordered priest for the diocese of Quimper. Monseigneur François-Mathurin Gourvès is then Evêque highly skilled of the diocese of Valves since October 16th, 2005, date of ordiantion of his successor.
