François-Marie Picaud is ecclesiatic French born the January 31st 1878 with Josselin (Morbihan), and dead the March 29th 1960.

Ordered priest the December 20th 1900, appointed auxiliary bishop of Valves and titular bishop of Erythrae (Minor Asia) the May 15th 1925, devoted on July 1st 1925. Appointed bishop of Bayeux and Lisieux the September 12th 1931. He was thus bishop in Normandy during the painful period of the second world war, his undergoing diocese of very heavy destruction. The August 5th 1954 it withdraws, is named highly skilled bishop of Bayeux and Lisieux and titular bishop of Alba Maritima (Dalmatie). He dies the March 29th 1960.
