He marries Jeanne Dauvet of Marets, girl of Francois, baron of Boursault.

; Career Contrary to his father, it makes a beautiful career in the armies. Initially colonel of infantry of the Regiment of Souvré whereas it takes part in the battle of Parma (1734); it is then made Lieutenant-general of the Armies of the King.
