François-Leon Gauthey (born on March 1st 1848 with Châlon-sur-saône, Saône-et-Loire - died the July 25th 1918 with Founols, Puy-de-Dôme) was a French monk, who was bishop of Nevers, then archbishop of Besancon.

• 1899: general vicar of the diocese of Autun
• 1906: bishop of Nevers
• 1910: archbishop of Besancon
