François-Joseph Lestiboudois

François-Joseph Lestiboudois is a Médecin and a Botaniste French, its birth date is unknown, it died in 1815 with Lille.

He is the son of Jean-Baptiste Lestiboudois (1715-1804), professor of Botanique to the Faculty of Science of Lille and the father of Gaspard Thémistocle Lestiboudois (1797-1876), also botanist. He is doctor and professor of Botanique in Lille. He publishes the Botanographie Belgium in 1781 republished in 1796, then later again by his son. The first part of the work describes the various botanical systems and gives a dictionary, the second offer twenty-three synoptic tables as well as the uses and the description of the crop plants of north of France.
