François-Joseph Desbillons

François-Joseph Desbillons , modern Latin poet, born in 1711 with Châteauneuf in Berry, died in 1789.

It entered to the Jésuite S, taught humanities with distinction with Nevers, to Caen, the Arrow, then came to Paris in order to be devoted to it to its taste for the literature. During the winding-up of the company of the Jesuits, it was withdrawn with Mannheim where it remained until its death.

One has of him:

  • 15 pounds of extremely estimated Latin fables, under the title of Confabulated Msopicae , Mannheim, 1768
  • two poems: Ars bucket valendi , 1788
  • De Pace christiana , 1789
  • of the Miscellanea , 1792, where one finds odes, letters and two new books of fables.

It approached much Jean of the Fountain.
