François-Antoine-Marie de Méan (1756 - 1831): the last Prince-bishop of Liege and first primacy of Belgium. Born in 1756 with the castle from Saive, it was indicated as auxiliary bishop in 1785 by his uncle prince- thebishop César-Constantin-François de Hoensbroeck, with dead of which it was elected prince-bishop. He flees with Düsseldorf at the time of the occupation of Liege by Dumouriez and returned from there only in 1793.

The ultimate restoration of the prince-bishop proceeded in a climate of hatred.

It is often called " of Malines" , because he was archbishop of the Diocèse of Malines between on July 28th, 1817 and the day of his death, the January 15th 1831.
