François-Alphonse Forel

François-Alphonse Forel (February 2nd 1841 with Swiss Morges in - August 7th 1912 with Morges) was a doctor, professor with the Academy, pioneer in the study of the lakes and founder of the Limnologie. He was recognized internationally.
