Fragments on the grace
Fragments on the grace is a French film of Vincent Dieutre left in rooms in December 2006.
History
The realizer goes on the traces of the Jansénisme. The spectator follows it in his search through readings of texts of time, passages autobiographical and discussions with an academic, between documentary, fiction and filmed autobiography.Vincent Dieutre filmed camera with the shoulder, passing from the site of Port-Royal-of-Fields to the Parisian places marking of the history of the Jansénisme (the church Saint-Jacques-of-High-Not the, the Bibliothèque of Port-Royal, the monastery of Port-Royal-of-Paris, etc). It alternates these evocations with the reflections of Philippe Sellier, one of the best historians of jansénisme. The spectator then witnesses readings of letters of the nuns of Port-Royal, with the diction of the 17th century, which often diverts the spectator all while inserting it in the drama of Port-Royal.
