Fraghískos Alvértis (in Greek modern: Φραγκίσκος Αλβέρτης ), born the July 11th 1974 with Glyfáda, is a player of Greek Basket-ball , evolving/moving at the station of winger.

It is with old sixteen years that it joined the greens of the Panathinaïkos of which he will become the captain. In 1998, it helps its club to again gain the title of champion after fourteen years of failure, victory which marks the beginning of seven titles over the period 1998 - 2005.

On the European level, it gains with its club three victories in Euroligue and disputes four other finales.

Its qualities of leader, of catch of responsibilities, also led it to assume the chairmanship of the association of the Greek players. It also occupies a role of leader within the Greek selection, with which it takes part in five championships of Europe of 1995 with 2003, two Olympic tournaments in 1996 and 2004 and a Championnat of the world.
