Fraga is a town of Spain located at the south-eastern end of the Province of Huesca, in the autonomous Communauté of Aragon, on left bank of the Cinca. It is the chief town of the Comarque of Bajo Cinca (in Catalan: Baix Cinca).

August 1st Fraga is to 104 km of Huesca, to 115 km of Saragossa and to 25 km of Lérida.

History

August 1st The king d' Aragon Alphonse {{1st}} '' the Fighter '' was overcome in the vicinity by the Almoravides at the time of the Bataille of Fraga, on July 17th, 1134, whereas it besieged the city. Fraga is conquered on the Moslems by the count Raimond-Berenger IV of Barcelona on October 24th, 1149.

In 1391, Jean Ier d' Aragon concedes at the city a Marché, which is held in the main street.
