Frémok

FRMK (pronounce Frémok ) is a editor of Cartoon born from fusion the June 22nd 2002 of the Belgian association Fréon (created by Thierry Van Hasselt and Vincent Fortemps) and of the editor French Amok (whose figurehead is Yvan Alagbé). The offices of FRMK are thus located at Anderlecht and Montreuil.

This editor represents the avant-garde as regards Cartoon. The published books are very few, but very luxurious, and of a rare leading and conceptual requirement.

Mixing written, graphics, FRMK is the place of all the experiments, true creative crossroads, and bridge of the narrative Figuration towards the Contemporary art, the Peinture or the Danse ( Brutalis of Thierry Van Hasselt), FRMK also translated the philosophical cartoons of Martin Tom Dieck ( Salut Deleuze ) and republished Lycaons of Alex Barbier, pioneer of the direct Couleur, and a pictorial approach of the medium whose FRMK is made the echo.
