Frédérick Raynal

Born in 1965, Frédérick Raynal is one of the figures of the French video game.

It is in particular one of the two dads of famous the Breakage-brick Pop-corn, which distributed free will make its fame in the world of the video game. Following this success, he is engaged by Infogrames where he will give life to one of the video games among most revolutionary: Alone in the Dark.

He will not work however with the other episodes of the series since which he leaves Infogrames before the exit of the second shutter to found Adeline Software International (in 1993) with the other old ones of Infogrames: Yaël Barroz, Didier Chanfray, Serge Plagnol and Laurent Salmeron. It appears that Infogrames would have benefitted from innocence and passion from Frédérick Raynal by underpaying it (its wages was of 6000 F./month) and that the success of Alone in the Dark would not have brought back large thing to him.

In 1994, Adeline Software International leaves its first play: Little Big Adventure (or LBA) which was sold with more than 350.000 specimens, a record. Then will come Time Commando and Little Big Adventure 2, and Adeline Software International repurchased by SEGA in 1997 becomes No Stereotyped and develops plays for Dreamcast, in particular Toy Commander, which left to Europe with the console. Today No Stereotyped does not exist any more.

After having made party of the founders of F4, which it left, Frédérick would have created a consultancy, Ludoïd. He currently works on a new project, with a new team, in collaboration with Ubisoft, with Montpellier.
