Frédérick Durand

Frédérick Durand is a writer Québécois, born with Three-Rivers the May 18th 1973.

Novelist, short story writer, poet and essay writer, Frédérick Durand are holder of a diploma of advanced studies (DEA) of the University of Limoges (France) and of a doctorate of the University of Quebec with Three-Rivers (thesis on the representations of private in the French serialized stories published in the Québécois newspapers of the 19th century). It published a collection of poetry, several novels, news, articles and reports, in English and French, in various periodicals, among which Imagine… , of which he was literary director (1996-1998), sociographic Recherches and Books of the bibliographical Company of Canada .

Researcher, it taught the literature at the University of Quebec with Three-Rivers and the College Laflèche (Three-Rivers). Its study on the Two Orphan ones of Adolphe d' Ennery: part with the novel, the multiplication of the figures and passions is appeared in 1999 in Érudition and passion in the intimate writings , Éditions Sleepless night/Nota Bucket (acts of the conference held within the framework of the 65e congress of Association Canadian-Frenchwoman for the advance of sciences (ACFAS)). It animates a radio program on the waves of the 89,1 FM with Three-Rivers, devoted to the promotion of the cinema, the literature and the music “different”: onirism, fantastic and surrealism. Musician, it took part in the homage to the scenario writer Lucio Fulci, For Lucio Fulci: has Symphony off Fear and with the official DVD of the film AlDila , same realizer (published by Anchor Bay).
