Foxtail

The foxtails are a kind of Plante S herbaceous of the family of the Poaceae (Graminée S) which includes/understands a score of Espèce S of the moderate and cold areas. Several of them are cultivated like fodder plants. Some are of Adventice S of the fields of Céréale S with straw.

Alopecurus is a Greek word of origin that meaning “tail of fox” (reference to the shape of ear). The French word “foxtail” with the same significance (of the Latin vulpes , the fox).
