the intergovernmental Group of expert on the evolution of the climate (GIEC) was created by the OMM and the PNUE to evaluate the scientific informations, techniques, and socio-economic concerning the climate changes, their potential impacts, the options of adaptation and limitation of the changes.

the Fourth evaluation report (AR4 in the anglophone jargon) of GIEC is in the course of finalization (2007). Two of the three work groups adopted their parts until now (April 2007), third is in the course of session in Bangkok after those of Paris and Geneva; the handing-over of this last part concerning the recommendations of the scientists aiming to the reduction of the emissions of Gaz to greenhouse effect (for example by means of quotas) is awaited for on Friday, May 4, 2007.

The session gathering the scientists proceeded in February 2007 in Paris.

The reduction of gases with greenhouse effect can take place on very varied sectors of the economy and human environment of life. The scientfiques ones of the GIEC regarded as crucial the Années 2010 with 2020 to set up the necessary measures in order to preserve the total temperature and living conditions.
