The fourth district of the Gironde is one of the 11 French legislative districts which account the department of the the Gironde (33) located in area Aquitaine.

Geographical and demographic description

The fourth district of the Gironde is delimited by the electoral Découpage of the law n°86-1197 of the November 24th 1986 , it gathers the following administrative divisions: cantons of Carbon-White, Cenon, Floirac, Lormont.

According to the general Census of the population in 1999, carried out by the National institute of the Statistics and Economic studies (INSEE), the total population of this district is estimated at 123.488 habitants^, .
