Fourth battle of Isonzo

The fourth Bataille of Isonzo took place of the November 10th to the December 2nd 1915. It is a battle of the Western face during the First World War.

The Italy NS and the Austro-Hungarian start the fourth battle on banks of Isonzo. The Italian offensive begin with four hours an intense artillery stopping. Although they attack in force, the projection of the Italians is limited and they must be solved to ram one their strategic objectives, Gorizia, the 18. The engagements are completed on December 2nd, whereas the Italians gained little ground. Once again, the heavy assessment of the two east coasts: 49.500 human losses for the Italians and 32.100 for the Austro-Hungarians.
