The Fourth Coalition (1806-1807) was formed on October 1st 1806 against the Napoleonean France by the the United Kingdom, the Russia and the Prussia, the latter refusing the new organization of the Germany (Confédération of the Rhine), imposed by Napoleon.

This war is marked by the countryside of Saxony which, after the French victories of Iéna and Auerstaedt (October 14th 1806), leads to the Prussian defeat and the countryside of Poland against the Russians. Those, overcome with Eylau (February 8th 1807), undergo one crushing demolished with Friedland (June 14th 1807). The treated of Tilsit (7 - July 9th 1807), which dismembers the Prussia, put an end to the fourth coalition. Secret agreements prepare the bases of an alliance between Napoleon and Alexandre I {{er}}.
