Four Musketeers

One calls the Four musketeers the team of Tennis which compose

• Jean Borotra,
• Jacques Brugnon,
• Henri Cochet,
• Rene Lacoste.

Associated, they gain the Coupe Davis for the France six times consecutive, of 1927 with 1932, and with them four, they dominated all international competitions of tennis over several years during the years 1920.

Less known, Christian Boussus (1908 - 2003) is often called the 5th musketeer . Retained for the editions of 1929 with 1932 of the Coupe Davis, it does not play any match however (it will not dispute there matches that of 1934 with 1938).
